For many of you that have been following me on social media you are aware that I have recently made the move from Winnipeg back out to Pine Falls. I’m quite excited about this move because it is finally getting me out of an apartment with the purchase of this home. I have been in Winnipeg living in an apartment for the past year and a half roughly with only my Traeger pro 575 for all my grilling needs. Although Traeger does put out an amazing product, every BBQ addict and enthusiast knows that more grills means more fun. I myself have several grills and this move means that I can now finally put them all to use again. Not to mention purchase a few more that I’ve been looking at lol. Let’s run through the list.
My weber kettle
these little grills are some of the most iconic and well-known grills on the market. I absolutely suggest that anybody wanting to get into BBQ have one of these in their backyard. My weber kettle is probably my favourite grill to use. 18 inches in diameter is not very big but I have done some very big cooks on it. There’s nothing more satisfying than lighting up a chimney full of charcoal and getting a fire going in the belly of that weber. From burgers to brisket, pork chops to ribs, chicken thighs two entire turkeys and everything in between. My little weber kettle has done it all. But never forget this is also the perfect grill for any side you can think of or even a smoked cheesecake which I have done a few times now. If you do not have one of these then you better go out and get one.
